Who is she?

I like to call myself a health fanatic, health coach, health guru, or just a girl trying to live her best life. Most people call me Tamica or Me-Me. You choose which one you want to pick.

I have studied Social Work, Project Management, Human Resource Management, and of course Health, Nutrition, Fitness, and Spirituality. That’s a lot! I have tons of knowledge and experience that I have been sharing with anyone who will listen and now I want to share it with you. Yes, you!

Why do this?

Good ways to eat more veggies

Hi everyone! I’m back. Been doing a lot of great things. I know that it is super difficult to get in all the servings of vegetables we need. This is really tough if you work most of your day. I’ve tried and proven a couple of recipes to be great tasting and easy ways to eat healthier.

1: Radishes

Yes honey!!Did I just say radishes. Well if you season and roast radishes they taste like potatoes. They are a great substitute. Here’s what you do…

Take either 2 bags of radishes or however many you want to make and cut the roots off. Next, rinse them. Place them in a glass baking dish and toss them with olive oil. Season them with your favorite seasoning. I used basil, onion powder, salt and pepper. Then cook them on one side for 20 minutes. Flip them over and bake for another 15-20 minutes until tender. What’s your petition?

Hebrews 5:7- Reflection- God is telling me that even though Jesus was his son he still offered up prayers and petitions to God. These weren’t quiet cute prayers but prayers that were loud with cries and tears. Jesus prayers had passion behind them for what he was praying for. God heard him because of his reverent submission. He was humble before the Lord! What are you petitioning God for?

What’s Your Favorite Diet?

I have tried them all!! Yes, them all! Weight Watchers, Keto, Intermittent Fasting, Low Fat, Daniel Fast or Vegan, just eating whatever (the give up diet).

I told you, I have tried it all. What has worked for me? They all have worked for me. Every diet I have tried has worked. I did Keto for 30 days and lost 8 pounds. My doctor was happy. She told me that was great. I was discouraged. I wanted to lose 20 pounds in 1 month. I gave up my favorite foods and only lost 8 pounds. Yay!

Let’s talk about weight watchers. I loved the accountability of weight watchers. I made sure to be on the straight and narrow a couple of days before weigh in. I could not go to a meeting and not lose at least one pound. I really enjoyed weight watchers. I enjoyed the recipes and the exercise videos. I lost a total of 5 pounds! Yay! Oh, this was over months and months. I was almost a life time member. What happened?

Don’t you dare talk negatively about my journey! I told you this is going to be real. Not the “I lost 50 pounds in one month.”

Do I have success story? Yes, I do! you have to stay tuned for more……….
